There are so many ways to say your vows to each other.  Different religions, cultures, ethnicities and traditions play major roles in forming the ceremony itself.  From the procession to the recession, there are choices

to be made that will enhance the mood you want to set and the committ ment you want to make.  What do you want the ceremony's mood to be?
How do you want to feel and how do you want your guest to feel once they enter the hallowed place where you are to wed?

The ceremony site whether a church, an historical site or your parents back yard may make certain choices for you.  The officiant may perform only certain types of rites which can not be altered.  Even then, there are things you can do to make the ceremony fit the relationship between the two of you.

The ceremony consists of the venue, programs, officiant, procession, rites, readings, music, flowers, decorations, photographer, traditions and recessional.  Each decision you make should be in keeping with the mood you want to set and the things that are most important to both of you.
